When I was first being introduced to Chiropractic (before I became a patient). I told Matthew that if he gave me material to read, and not preach at me, that I would keep an open mind. I was very skeptical of the entire field of Chiropractic, but honestly couldn't tell you a thing about it except that they "pop" peoples' backs. I would find out that even that wasn't entirely accurate.
The book pictured above is the first book he gave me to read. I read it cover to cover. It explains the history and science behind Chiropractic. (Yes, there is science behind what they do) I would encourage anyone who wants to understand Chiropractic, as a field of healthcare, to read this book. It is a fast read. This book helped to open my mind to one of the greatest health-care tools in my life.
